Images representing Canada
at the World Photographic Cup
Canada can now reveal the team images entered into the World Photographic Cup – a competition in which a team of photographers represent their home country. The photography family (or Camera-derie!) is a bond that transcends language, culture and geography. That’s the foundation behind the World Photographic Cup, a one of a kind international team competition.
After three rounds of eliminations by Canadian curators these images rose to the top and became Canada’s entry in the International competition. Judging is now complete and we eagerly await the results. By the end of January Team Canada will know how many of our country’s images have been selected as Top 10 world finalists. And that’s just the start, because on March 28th those final images will be on stage in Rome, Italy and eligible to receive medals, with one country winning the coveted World Photographic Cup. Go Canada Go!
2022 WPC Team Canada / 18 Images Revealed
Team Canada is proud to announce its entry into the World Photographic Cup competition featuring 16 Canadian photographers within 6 unique categories.
The extensive curation process commenced this past summer with submissions pouring in from across our vast country, and curators from supporting photographic associations reviewed every submission to finalize the 18 exceptional images that will represent Team Canada.
The selected photographers represent professionals and emerging artists in all genres of photography. Each produced photographic art, which successfully navigated multiple rounds of curation to become, at last, part of Team Canada. Congratulations to our Team Canada photographers.
Results with Top 10, Best of Nation and Medalists will be shown on the WPC Team Canada 2022 Gallery page.
