Stella d’Entremont is a visual artist whose photographs tell powerful stories of nature, wildlife, and culture. Rooted in her Acadian and Métis heritage, Stella draws inspiration from the landscapes and traditions that shaped her upbringing in Nova Scotia. Her award-winning work has been recognized through five PPOC accreditations, three solo exhibitions, and her book ACADIENNES – Voix de la génération silencieuse | Voices of the Silent Generation, which combines portraiture and storytelling to preserve the voices of Acadian women. With a deep commitment to excellence and creativity, Stella brings a unique vision that blends technical mastery with emotional narrative.
Beyond her art, Stella is a dedicated author, mentor, and leader in Canada’s photographic community. She serves as President of the Canadian Association for Photographic Art (CAPA), is a CAPA Fellow, and a certified judge for national and regional competitions. Passionate about education, she shares her knowledge through workshops, critiques, and coaching, guiding photographers of all levels to refine their craft and discover their artistic voice. Whether in the field capturing wildlife or mentoring emerging talent, Stella continues to inspire through her belief that photography is both an art form and a way to tell stories that connect us to one another and to the natural world.
