2025 – Portrait / Illustrative
This piece, “SMOKE ON THE WATER, A FIRE IN THE SKY” explores the intersection of vulnerability and strength, embodying the transformative journey of self-discovery and empowerment. The subject is enveloped in opposing colours, caught between realms of light and shadow, symbolizing the duality of inner battles and the beauty that emerges from embracing one’s true self. The contrasting hues of deep blue and fiery orange reflect both tranquility and intensity, suggesting a harmony within opposites, while the water around her creates a sense of movement, as if she’s rising from within.
In capturing this moment, I aimed to visualize the power that lies within embracing one’s story—the courage it takes to bare oneself. This piece is an invitation to confront our inner worlds, recognizing that through the ebb and flow of life’s challenges, we uncover our own unique resilience and beauty.
2025 – Portrait / Natural
This image celebrates the raw, unfiltered essence of femininity, capturing a moment of profound self-acceptance and inner strength. Bathed in warm, fiery tones, the subject exudes both vulnerability and confidence, embodying a duality that speaks to the complex beauty of womanhood. Her raised arms and relaxed posture suggest a surrender to her own power and beauty, embracing every contour, every detail that makes her unique.
The red hues envelop her, symbolizing passion, resilience, and a deep connection to life’s primal energies. In creating this piece, my intention was to honor the strength that emerges when we allow ourselves to be seen as we are—unashamed, unguarded, and unapologetically ourselves. It is a testament to self-love, an invitation to find beauty in every facet of our existence, and a reminder that true empowerment comes from embracing our own narrative.
2025 – Wedding Open
In this image, I sought to capture the timelessness of love within a structured, almost hypnotic framework, illustrating the harmony between chaos and order. The intricate geometric patterns on the floor symbolize the myriad pathways that lead two people to each other, a tapestry of moments that culminate in this shared embrace. Viewed from above, the couple stands at the heart of this design, grounded yet surrounded by a world of possibilities, as if they are the center of their own universe.
The black-and-white palette enhances the elegance of this moment, drawing focus to the contrasting textures—the soft fluidity of her dress against the rigid symmetry of the tiles. The patterns radiate outward, suggesting that love, like this moment, is both intimate and expansive, radiating beyond the two people to touch something universal and enduring. This piece is an exploration of unity, a visual metaphor for how two lives intertwine amidst life’s beautiful complexities.
