Mike is WPC Team Canada’s unsung hero, managing all the image data from submission closing through to the final team selections. It’s a behind the scenes job that requires attention to detail and much patience.
After dedicating 37 years to the Canadian Armed Forces, Michel Ingram transitioned into the world of photography, channeling his passion through formal education at the Pacific Design Academy in Victoria. Since graduating, he has become a valued educator and mentor, fostering growth and creativity among emerging photographers. Michel’s commitment to the arts community is evident in his volunteer work, including photographing the Greater Victoria Performing Arts Festival, judging contests at the Sooke Fall Fair, and serving as a Board member for the Sooke Fine Arts Show.
Michel’s professional involvement extends to the Professional Photographers of Canada (PPOC), where he previously led as the Island Branch Chair for the BC Region. He continues to play an integral role in organizing the PPOC National Canadian Imaging Conference, helping unite photographers from across the country for learning and collaboration.
