Allen P. Bargen

Allen P. Bargen, FCAPA, Hon FCAPA, CCJ, CPS has dedicated a large part of his professional life to the art of Photography, and therefore to the agencies, clubs and people who involve themselves with it. On the national and international level, countless hours were devoted to the support and growth of CAPA, the Canadian Association for Photographic Art. He feels privileged to have worked on the National executive, and served as President of the Association.

Deeply involved with ongoing training and education in CAPA, Allen has written and presented several different lectures, courses and educational topics across Canada to support CAPA’s goals. Awarded their highest honours, FCAPA and Hon FCAPA for service and photographic achievement, Allen is a CAPA Certified Judge (CCJ), and a Canon CPS photographer. He has won many awards for photography, and frequently is invited to lecture on photographic topics.

His photography is mainly about the natural world and ongoing travels take him to many exotic locations in the world.
