Let yourself be inspired by the extraordinary photographs that represented Canada on the world stage at this year’s World Photographic Cup. This stunning collection will be on display at McBain Camera in Edmonton from March 9 – April 10, 2026.
You will be moved by the visual storytelling of Canada’s photographs, including seven Top 10 up for medals in Reykjavik, Iceland on April 25, 2026. This collection features additional local photographers like Railene Hooper and Steve Edgerton whose stunning images endured three rounds of curation for the opportunity to represent Canada,
McBain Camera is also excited to invite photographers to the presentation “A Night of Inspiration” on Monday, March 30th at 7pm. This FREE digital presentation of visual excellence showcases all the medal winning images from the World Photographic Cup. Team Members will be on hand so after seeing the global photography learn more about WPC Team Canada and how all Canadian photographers from coast to coast are welcome to submit images.
The World Photographic Cup — a prestigious global competition often referred to as the “Olympics of photography,” serves as the ultimate arena for photographers to compete as a team and showcase their talent on an international stage.
At the exhibition you will also see the the remarkable works from past Canadian World Medalists. Don’t miss the chance to celebrate Canadian talent up close and experience our nation’s spirit of creativity and excellence through this striking collection of world-class photographs.
