2017 – Wedding
I was hired by a delightful couple to capture their wedding day which turned out to have some of the heaviest rain of the year. Not to be deterred, I launched into producing a wide variety of images that dispelled the dark, gloomy weather by approaching things from another perspective. I always carry white umbrellas with me for wedding shoots and these proved to be most helpful. This image was the first of the day and taken upon the arrival of the groom and his groomsmen to the wedding site and set the tone for the rest of the shoot. I like that it has a timeless, story-telling quality to it.
