Bio
Starting his early career as a press photographer, Craig was continually inspired by the light and stylings from the Hollywood studios in creating their dynamic imagery. In many ways he’s come full circle as he’s now regularly working for Hollywood Film and TV productions, to produce their press, portrait and publicity materials for the same entertainment world he admired so much during his teenage years.
As a founding Ambassador for Nikon Canada, his list of specialties behind the lens is a long one… which includes film stills, corporate, industrial, underwater, architecture, editorial assignments and expedition travel to name just a few. His corporate client list and editorial features have seen him published globally for the last 35+ years, and you’ve likely seen his images on your TV, at the theatre, in the stores and throughout the magazine world and internet.
An avid sailor and passionate diver, Craig has a natural affinity to the water realms and our great outdoors. He is driven to ensure that we can preserve and restore our beautiful world and better educate ourselves to fully appreciate its natural wonders. Even when without a camera in hand, he can usually be found “On Assignment”, as he spends much of his free time on his 40′ sailboat enjoying the waters of our most beautiful BC Pacific West Coast.
“I’ve always felt that Canada is an amazing country in every way, and so to represent Team Canada by doing what I’ve always loved to do, is absolutely the best of all worlds and a hugely humbling honour – especially given the spectacular caliber of images involved and the incredible talent represented on the World’s stage!”

Gold Medal, World Top 10
Being on set during filming as the designated Stills Photographer, is to have a very limited window to the actors, crew and all the chaos that is absolutely necessary to the critical task at hand. It’s an incredible, but still daunting privilege to document these singular moments in filmmaking history, while still striving to bring to life the absolute essence of the film’s story itself – with only a single frame.
This scene from Color Blind, A BIPOC feature film by Mostafa Keshvari, was a pivotal moment in the storyline and an intensely powerful emotional experience for everyone on set. Chantal Riley as a color-blind black artist, delivered a stunning and award winning performance in this beautifully crafted film to accurately display color-blindness and metaphorically address racism.
