Bio
Brad has been behind a camera since an early age. He honed his skills working in darkrooms, studios and, for a while, the Arizona outback. At this point, Brad has been involved in the commercial photography industry for 40 years.
He built a studio in a 160-year-old building, and has spent three decades there experimenting, and creating equipment and lighting to do just what he wants it to (while still appreciating the occasional happy accident).
Brad has always enjoyed working with animals of all types, and it shows in his signature storytelling photo illustrations, which frequently have a comic strip vibe. Think Norman Rockwell meets Garfield meets The Addams Family.
For many years, Brad has been concentrating on bringing to life some alternative photography and processing techniques.
“’Take your best shot.’ It’s on a poster beside my office door, which leads to the studio. Ironically it’s a tequila poster.”

I enjoy working with animals of all types, and creating signature storytelling photo illustrations like this comedic image.
