Sask. woman's photo reaches top 10 in World Photographic Cup
As the saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words. In Deborah MacEwen’s case, it means one of the top 10 photographs in the world. MacEwen’s photo of a whale’s tale popping out of the ocean in Alaska has landed her in the finals of the World Photographic Cup. She joins us now on today’s show from Warman, Saskatchewan.

Deborah’s magical image of a whale and the majestic Alaskan mountains has earned her a spot as a Top 10 finalist in the World Photographic Cup. On March 28th the awards ceremony will take place in Rome, Italy and perhaps she will come away with a medal finish and help propel Team Canada to the podium.
