Based in Toronto, Geoff Gabriel is a photographer and videographer with a deep passion for aviation and visual storytelling. Specializing in airshow photography, Geoff captures the power, precision, and emotion of flight with a distinctive cinematic style.
An accredited Aviation Photographer with the Professional Photographers of Canada (PPOC) and an ICON Master, Geoff continues to push creative boundaries in both motion and still imagery. In 2025, Geoff earned First Place in the Portrait Narrative Category at the ICON International Photography Awards, a recognition of the ability to blend technical mastery with evocative storytelling.
As a lifelong aviation enthusiast, Geoff’s journey began at the age of two, attending the Canadian International Airshow, where he now proudly serves as a member of the official Photo Team. Through his lens, Geoff seeks to share the beauty, intensity, and human connection behind aviation bringing viewers closer to the skies that have inspired him since childhood.

Inside the cockpit, two aviators are visible under the jet’s canopy. The pilot in the front seat is focused on precision flying, while the WSO in the back seat adds a touch of personality and fun by giving the viewers two thumbs up. It’s a fun playful moment the naked eye doesn’t normally gets to see as it that stands out against the serious, high-performance nature of the aircraft. The cloudy backdrop adds a touch of dramatic tone to the photo, emphasizing the sense of motion and altitude. Overall, the aim was to balance the intensity of military aviation with a glimpse of the human side of the people who fly these incredible machines.
