2025 Exhibition Tour Dates
Great photos have the power to tell extraordinary stories, and Canada is home to some of the best storytellers in the world. That’s why we’re beyond excited for the WPC Team Canada exhibition which highlights the extraordinary photographs Canada submitted to this year’s World Photographic Cup (WPC).
The selected photographs, from a diverse mix of professional and emerging photographers, represent various genres and triumphed through three rigorous rounds of qualifying, earning a place on Team Canada. This year six of Canada’s photographs were Top 10 in the world with one Sports image, by Vancouver photographer Nick Didlick, winning a Gold Medal. Nick’s Sports image, taken at the Paris Olympics, features the new sport of Kayak Cross and the unique photo opportunities of the splash down.
In addition to experiencing the outstanding photographs submitted by Team Canada you will be captivated with the remarkable works from past Canadian World Medalists. Images that shine on the global stage. These incredible photographic artists have captured moments that inspire, amaze, and resonate.
The World Photographic Cup, a prestigious global competition often referred to as the “Olympics of photography,” serves as the ultimate arena for photographers to compete as a team and showcase their talent on an international stage. And thanks to the support of Custom Colour Imaging, the team is now excited to bring these printed images to their local communities for everyone to enjoy.
Don’t miss the opportunity to see the exhibition during its limited stops throughout the country. Celebrate Canada and its spirit of creativity and excellence in this mesmerizing exhibition of photographs.
And if you get the chance attend a “A World of Inspiration” Presentation for photographers and those that love photographic art. Experience a digital presentation of visual excellence as we showcase all the medal winning images from the World Photographic Cup. After being inspired by the global photography, meet local team members and learn more about Team Canada: what we do and how to submit images for consideration. All Canadian photographers from coast to coast, representing a wide range of genres and styles are welcome to submit images. Deadline is September 14, 2025.
