2022 – Illustration / Digital Art
This was a dream image I wanted to do for a long time. My Mermaid image was a long and creative process, we arranged a faux “tail” out of fabric and I did the rest in Photoshop, this edit took upwards of 15 hours to make, but it’s close to my heart because it features my best friend.
2022 – Wedding
This was the bride’s vision, she really wanted something more reminiscent of a painting and she always prefers images where her face is in shadow.
2017 – Portrait
World Top 10, Bronze Medal
This is a funny image, and it is the one that won the bronze medal, I honestly don’t know why I chose this image, as its not my favorite submission! I wanted a painterly feel, one that you couldn’t tell if it was a painting or a photograph. I’m glad the judges liked it and that Canada won a medal that year!
2017 – Illustration / Digital Art
I really wanted to create a male angel, I used images I shot while in Greece for the composite. Looking back at this image years later I see so much wrong with it, I’m still happy it made it as far as it did, it was fun to make.
2017 – Wedding
We unbuttoned the dress, and the bride flopped down on her couch, exhausted after her session. I looked and said, “Sorry one last one! and this image was born.”
