All Canadian photographers are invited to submit images for WPC Team Canada consideration
What is WPC Team Canada ?
30 images ·10 categories · 1 team
WPC is a yearly competition in which teams of photographers represent their home country. This global “Olympic Style” team competition fosters friendship and good will between countries. Nations across the globe, including Canada, meticulously curate their country’s images to create a collection of amazing images to enter in the World Photographic Cup.
Up to 30 photographers become Team Canada, and while images earn individual recognition the team’s goal is to put Canada on the WPC podium and showcase our nation’s photographic talent to the world. We enjoy a team atmosphere where we support and encourage each other to succeed within the competition while representing and cheering for our beautiful country. Everyone is welcomed.
We know that Canada has many of the best and most creative photographers in the world. Our goal is to curate Team Canada’s entry and have Canadian images showcased in this competition. We want Canada to be on the podium!
All Canadian Photographers, professional and amateur, are invited to submit images to Team Canada for consideration. Images are accepted throughout July and August.

“I didn’t make the Canadian team, but still beneficial at the same time. I got a ton of marketing exposure just out of making it to the final round alone.
For example, getting my work into a fine art gallery (my first fine art gallery in 10+ years) and my image ‘Drop in Time’ was the curator’s favourite. Showing her the PPOC National Excellence award and telling her about the World Cup finals sure helped a lot.”
