World Photographic Cup / Top 10
The World Photographic Cup is far from a typical photo competition; it’s a prestigious, Olympic-style event that celebrates the art of photography on a global stage. In this unique format, photographers from 29 nations around the world competed not only as individuals but as a cohesive team representing their country.
Six Canadian photographers earned World Top 10 recognition and will represent Canada as finalists at the 2025 World Photographic Cup ceremony (WPC) in Ecuador on March 20th, 2025. Team Canada gathered virtually to watch the Top 10 announcements, it was a testament to their collective talent and hard work, fostering a strong sense of unity and national pride as they cheered on their teammates’ achievements.
All Top 10 finalists are now in the running for individual Gold, Silver, or Bronze medals and depending on their final ranking, these images have the chance to help Team Canada win the World Photographic Cup! Go Canada Go.
“I couldn’t be prouder! Representing Canada four times has been an incredible journey, and every time my images are recognized, it fills me with happiness and pride all over again.”
2025 World Top 10 / Louis-Philippe Provost
This is Louis-Philippe Provost’s 4th time on Team Canada and 4th time in the World Top 10! That is quite an accomplishment. This image was taken at the Summit One Vanderbilt observatory which features unique views of New York City and a different perspective of the iconic Empire State building.
