World Photographic Cup / Award
Canadian talent took center stage at the World Photographic Cup (WPC) Awards Ceremony in Quito, Ecuador, as three Canadian photographers proudly represented Team Canada in person. With 6 Canadian finalists in the running this year, the excitement was electric as the world’s best photographers gathered to celebrate artistic excellence. Back home, the rest of WPC Team Canada came together virtually, united in spirit as they watched and cheered for their nation’s top photographic talents. Our Canadian photographers earned 1 Gold Medal and 5 Top 10 places! In the end, Canada secured an impressive 6th place ranking (out of 28 nations), continuing Canada’s legacy of excellence on the global stage.
“Another incredible year for Team Canada! I’m beyond proud and grateful to have been part of this success. I’ll be working hard to make this experience happen again next year!”
2025 - 7th Place / Louis-Philippe Provost
This is Louis-Philippe Provost’s 4th time on Team Canada and 4th time in the World Top 10! That is quite an accomplishment. This image was taken at the Summit One Vanderbilt observatory which features unique views of New York City and a different perspective of the iconic Empire State building. The added fog leads the viewer to appreciate the beautiful architecture and historic details of the building.
